I see the world today as a dazzling, shifting kaleidoscope,
a dynamic mandala of challenging complexity and infinite beauty.
With my art, I honor the mystery, magic and miracle of the moment.

I am of the same lineage as the cave artist, inventor of symbols, Image-Maker.
I follow in the tradition of those who first made strange, beautiful marks on cold stone walls
to proclaim their existence and their awe.

Themes of my art include mindfulness, radiance, paradox, space, play and celebration.

Favorite artists include Vermeer, Magritte, Escher, Vasarely, Gaudi, Yaacov Agam,
James Siena, Frank Stella, Eyvinde Earle, Nam June Paik and Jennifer Steinkamp.

Recent "Z-space" paintings challenge the 2D flatness of the canvas as they project and penetrate visually into “Z” space,
the depth coordinate of conventional XYZ space. Digital Video has added the dynamics of time and motion to animate images.
